Jean Price

Age 78 of Wilmington and formerly Diamond and Braidwood, passed away Sunday morning August 23, 2009.

Born August 19, 1931 in McLeansboro, Illinois, Zetta Verjean was a daughter of the late Richard and Vinnie Harrelson-Cantrell. She was raised in Hamilton County, Illinois and was a graduate of Thompsonville High School.

Survivors include two children: Pamela (Daniel, Sr.) Gallagher of Braidwood and Randy (Paula) Price of Wilmington; three grandchildren: Daniel Gallagher, Jr. of Wilmington, Scott Gallagher of Braidwood and Kristi Johnson of Minooka; four great grandchildren: Alicia Gallagher, Ryan and Ashley Johnson and Timmothy Gallagher; one brother Richard (Doris) Cantrell and one sister Betty Wheatley, both of Pekin, Illinois and the father of her children: Bobby Price of Braidwood, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; two children Beverly and Mark; two sisters: Irma Durbin and Maxine Cantrell and one brother Leon (Frances) Cantrell.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 25, 2009 from 9:00AM until time of funeral service 11:00AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (two blocks North of Illinois Route 53 / Baltimore Street) in Wilmington.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin, Illinois.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Jean's memory to Hospice of Kankakee Valley.
