James R. Riley Age 80 of Elkhart,IN. formerly of Wilmington,IL. Passed away Monday, March 30,2009 at his residence. Born June 17,1928 in Joliet IL. to the late James C. and Margaret (Shultz) Riley. Also preceded in death by a son, Michael W. Riley. Survived by his wife Pauline (Heggie) Riley, Daughters; Kathy (Ron) Gehring of Pleasanton, Ca.,Karen (Len) Vaden of Dublin, Ca., Jamie (George) Lillard of Elkhart,IN. Sister; Rose (Richard) Lutz of Winona,IL. Brother Michael (Carolyn) Riley of Little Rock, Arkansas. Veteran of the U.S. Army. Retired from Bendix where he worked as a mechanical engineer for 30 years. Also loved driving for Auto Driveway where he received an award for 200,000 miles of safe driving. Family & friends will meet at St. Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington Friday, April 3, 2009 at 10 A.M. for visitation until 11 A.M. mass of Christian burial with Rev. Steven Bondi and Deacon Donald Dyer officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet cememtery in Wilmington, IL.
