"Jimi"

Age 20 of Goose Lake, passed away Saturday June, 1, 2013.

Born July 14, 1992 in Berwyn, Jimi is a son of James Allen Quam, Sr. and Catherine Theresa O'Connor-Quam. He was raised in Coal City and graduated from Coal City High School with the class of 2010. Jimi was a member of Teamsters Local #179 and was employed with US Hose Corporation in Romeoville. Jim was a busy guy, who enjoyed playing the guitar and having fun.

Survivors include his parents Jim and Cathy Quam, one sister Amanda Quam; one brother Erik Quam and his nephew Conor, all of Goose Lake; aunts and uncles: Joan (Russ) White, Michael (Nancy) O'Connor, Jerry O'Connor and Maureen O'Connor, all of Chicago, and cousins: Kari Musser, Russell White, Frank White, Michael O'Connor, Jr., Kevin (Brittany) O'Connor, Daniel O'Connor, Tayler O'Connor, Owen Musser and Finley Musser.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held Friday June 7, 2013 from 4:00PM until time of funeral service 7:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Reverend Robert Noesen from Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church in Coal City will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
