Age 59 of Wilmington, passed away Saturday November 09, 2013 at his home.

Born January 25, 1954 in Fort Jackson, South Carolina, Randy was a son of the late Franklin Ruben and Bessie Mae Hathcock-Johnson. He honorably served in the United States Navy and was a lifetime member of the VFW Cantigny Post #367 in Joliet. Randy belonged to Living Stones Community Church in Channahon, and will be remembered as a loving and giving man.

Survivors include his wife Joy (nee Sapp), whom he married May 24, 1995; five children: Steve (Tiffany) Miller of Chenoa, Timothy Miller (FiancAC. Michelle) of Crest Hill, Christina Miller (Michael Bill) of Crest Hill, Racheal Miller of Wilmington and Andrew Miller of Crawfordsville, Indiana; 13 grandchildren, and one brother Eric Wright of Joliet.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents Franklin and Bessie Johnson.

Cremation rites have been accorded and the family will receive friends on Friday November 22, 2013 from 9:00AM until time of Life Celebration, 10:00AM at Living Stones Community Church, 25124 Fryer Street in Channahon. Pastor Joe Pospischil will officiate and inurnment with full military honors will follow in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood at 12:00 Noon.

In lieu of flowers preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Randy's memory to Hines Fisher House of Illinois.
