James Jedlicka

James Allan Jedlicka

Age 71 of Morris and formerly Downers Grove and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, passed away Sunday morning June 24, 2007 at his home.

Born September 16, 1935 in Oak Park, Illinois, James was a son of the late James Joseph and Mae (Krupka) Jedlicka. He was a member of the National Guard and on May 26, 1984 James married Carolyn Louise Galster-Pommer in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was employed as an Electrical Engineer for various Architectural Firms and owned Electrical Design Consultants. James was a member of the NRA and in his free time James enjoyed hunting with his wife, marksmanship and working on automobiles and motorcycles.

Survivors include his wife Carolyn; daughter Jana Lynn (Anthony) Pape of Naperville; son Kurt James Jedlicka of Knoxville, Tennessee; stepson Carl Frederick "Rick" Pommer of Erie, Pennsylvania; stepdaughters: Lisa Louise Gollihur of Shorewood, Illinois and Lore Lynn McCauley of Parkland, Florida. Grandchildren: Kayleigh and Jaryn Strods and step-grandchildren: Reese, Margot, Carl and Olivia McCauley.

At the families request there will be no visitation and private family services held.
