James Besch, Jr.
Age 24 of Joliet and formerly of Plainfield, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.
Born February 17, 1994 in Joliet, James Adam is the son of James Besch, Sr. and Anita (nee Gray) Besch. He was raised and educated in Plainfield and graduated from Plainfield Central High School with the class of 2012. After graduation, James worked as a welder and was a dedicated employee with Abbey Metal Services for six years. He enjoyed electronic and techno dance music and loved cars, especially Camaros. His most treasured times though were always with his family and friends.
Survivors include his mother: Anita (Gray) Besch of Joliet; father: James Besch, Sr. of Lake Station, Indiana; sister: Marti Besch of Joliet; girlfriend: Bobbi Zabinski of Joliet; aunts: Mary Gray of Romeoville and Dorothy (Tony) Bader of Mason, Michigan; paternal grandmother: Roberta Besch of Naperville; maternal grandmother: Kathleen Gray of Romeoville; cousin: Ariana Besch of Alabama, as well as numerous close friends.
James was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: James Gray; paternal grandfather: Jerry (Jackie) Besch; uncles: Charlie Gray and Anthony Besch; aunt: Robin Scullin, and cousins: Anthony Jacobson and Jeremy Bader.
Visitation will be held at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, 1500 Black Road in Joliet on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of celebration of life service at 7:00 p.m.
Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
