"Jackie"

Age 71 of Wilmington, passed away Sunday May 25, 2008 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Born January 13, 1937 in Chicago, Jackie was the daughter of John and Leona Wozniak-Smetana. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City and loved cooking for her family, which was her number one priority. Jackie was also known for shopping and caring for all animals.

Survivors include her husband David M. Krause; three children: David (Cynthia) Krause of Minooka, Debra (Don) Kevish of Coal City and Jeffrey (Charlene) Krause of Goose Lake. Twelve grandchildren: Jenny (Cole) Herron, Kristen Krause, John Krause USN, Kimberley Krause, Kelsey Krause, Kailee Krause, Michael (Jennifer) Dodge USN, Ryan Dodge USN, Lauren Krause, Jeffrey Krause, Kyle Krause and Emmi Krause. Two great grandchildren: Destiny Wheelbarger and Drake Dodge; one brother Russ Smetana of Coal City and two sisters-in-law: Darlene Krause and Madeleine (Nick) Hernandez, both of Homer Glen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Wednesday May 28, 2008 from 9:00AM to 10:45AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow at 11:00AM in Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Reverend Pete Jankowski officiating.

A funeral luncheon provided by The Martha's will immediately follow the Funeral Mass at the Berst Center and a private family interment will be in All Saints Cemetery in Bourbonnais.

Pallbearers will be John Krause, Michael Dodge, Ryan Dodge, Jeffrey Krause, Kyle Krause and Cole Herron

Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Jackie's memory to a Humane Society of the donor's choosing.
