Age 94 of Wilmington, passed away Friday May 31, 2013 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Born August 20, 1918 in Braidwood, Irma was a daughter of the late Joseph and Delia Hazer-Tenn. She was an active member of Saint Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington. Irma will be remembered as a prominent business woman, who served the Wilmington community for many years.

Survivors include her children: Kenneth (Debbie) Nelson of Joliet and Delia "Sis" Rodgers and Barbara Hansen, both of Wilmington; grandchildren: Steven (Tina) Nelson and Mark Nelson of Wilmington, Theresa Rodgers of Phoenix, Arizona, John Rodgers of Joliet, Sheila (Brian) DuBois of Wilmington and Michael (Pamela) Hansen of Sublette, Illinois; five great-grandchildren: Ryan, Aaron, Misti, Jayde and Dylan; one great-great grandson Hunter, and one sister Elizabeth (Elmer) Drauden of Wilmington, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Irma was preceded by her parents; husband Wayne, granddaughters: Julie and Diane Nelson; great granddaughter: Jazmyn; brothers: Eugene, Edward, Donald, and William Tenn and sisters: Marie (Frank) Huska, Lorraine (Thomas) Lay, Catherine (William) Fleming and Bernadine (Matthew) Tomsich.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 5th between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington (815/476-2181) and Thursday June 6th at Saint Rose Catholic Church, 604 South Kankakee Street in Wilmington from 10:00AM until time of funeral service 11:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Reverend Steve Bondi officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wilmington.
