Age 81 of Morris, passed away Wednesday morning, April 16, 2008 at her home.

Born January 19, 1927 in Momence, Hilda was a daughter of the late John and Emma Wingerter-Frank. She was raised and educated in Momence and graduated from Momence Community High School with the graduating class of 1945. Hilda continued her education at Gallagher Business School in Kankakee and was employed by the Kankakee Farm Bureau, Montgomery Wards, and the Kankakee States Attorney's Office. On April 17, 1949 Hilda married Curtis Riley at the Kankakee Methodist Church and together they lived in the Kankakee area until moving to Morris in 1968. Hilda was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church in Morris, where she was involved with the Martha Circle and in her free time she enjoyed quilting, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Curtis; six children: Sandra (Ted) Boyd of Morris, Linda (David) Razunas of Dwight, Carol Riley of Fordland, Missouri, twins: Marilyn (George, Jr.) Lestina of Braidwood and Mark (Donna) Riley of Morris and Susan (Greg) Hutchings of St. Augustine, Florida; five grandchildren: Allison (Craig) Norris, Katie Razunas, Ian Dunbar, Jackson Riley and Lucas Riley; one step grandson George Lestina III and one brother John Frank and one brother-in-law Leonard Tomaski, both of Momence, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Hilda is preceded in death by her parents; one brother William Frank, one son Steven Riley and one sister Mabel Tomaski.

Visitation will be held on Sunday April 20, 2008 between the hours of 3:00PM and 6:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block East of Illinois Route 47) in Morris. Funeral Services will follow on Monday April 21st at 10:30AM in the First United Methodist Church of Morris, 118 West Jackson Street in Morris.

Burial will be in Sample Cemetery and Pallbearers will be: Greg Hutchings, George Lestina, Jr., Dave Razunas, Ted Boyd, Drew Bradley, Ian Dunbar and Craig Norris. Honorary Pallbearer will be Donna Riley.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Hilda's memory to: Grundy Community Volunteer Hospice, the First United Methodist Church of Morris or to a charity of the donor's choice.
