HELEN M. VANDUYNE nee Ginter

Age 94 of Wilmington, passed away Sunday December 23, 2007 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Born June 20, 1913, Helen was a daughter to the late Oscar and Minnie (Becker) Ginter.

"I ask that there be no public visitation or flowers at the time of my death, that a graveside service be conducted for my immediate family members only, and my remains be interred with my late husband, Nick, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Wilmington."

Helen is survived by her loving daughter JoAnn (Richard) Hooper of Wilmington; two granddaughters: Gina (Randy) McDannold of Bloomington and Jamie Hooper of Wilmington; three great grandchildren: Erin and Ryan McDannold and Corey Hooper; Brother and Sisters-in-law: Eugene and Marlene VanDuyne of Channahon and Shirley Hubell of Arizona, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Nick, her son Ron, her daughter Nickey Williams and her brothers and sisters.

Private services were held on Thursday December 27, 2007 with Deacon Donald Dyer officiating.

Memorials as gifts in Helen's memory to the Kuzma Care Cottage, 635 S. Main Street in Wilmington are greatly appreciated.
