Helen M. Dewalt
Age 71 of Wilmington and Palm Bay Florida, formerly Diamond, peacefully passed away on Friday January 26, 2007 at Palm Bay Community Hospital in Palm Bay, Florida with her family at her side.
Helen spent her winters in Florida, despite her long courageous battle with Cancer. She gave it her all...
Helen was born in Joliet, Illinois in 1935 to the late John and Martha Dowling.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Jack; her loving daughters: Diane (Tim) Thomas of Palm Bay, FL and Melvin, IL and Jackie (Terry) Wilhelmi of Elwood. Grandchildren: Chris (Alisha, special friend) Kavanaugh of Palm Bay, FL, Amber (Shawn) Ingram of Spring Bay, Tim (Christine), Eric and Ryan Wilhelmi all of Elwood. One Great Granddaughter Alexis Ingram; sisters: Dorothy (the late Boris) Sencenko of Shorewood and Madeline (Homer) Ellis of Morris and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Thursday February 01, 2007 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow on Friday February 2nd at 10:00AM in the funeral home with Deacon Don Dyer officiating.
Helen will then be laid to rest in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
Pallbearers will be: Tim Thomas, Terry Wilhelmi, Tim Wilhelmi, Eric Wilhelmi, Ryan Wilhelmi and Chris Kavanaugh.
