Heather M. Cardoza

Age 20 of Wilmington, passed away Monday December 1, 2009 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Born August 1, 1989 in Joliet, Heather is the daughter of Lewis and Carla Brickey-Wallace. She is a graduate of Wilmington High School and was a certified phlebotomist. Heather loved nature, fishing and her family.

Survivors include her husband Andrew Cardoza, daughter Nevaeh; parents Lewis and Carla Wallace; maternal grandparents: David and Linda Brickey of Braceville; paternal grandmother Rose Ann Wallace of Greenup, IL; mother and father-in-law: Dorine and Jessie Cardoza of Wilmington and numerous aunts and uncles.

Heather was preceded by her grandfather Howard Wallace.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held Monday December 7, 2009 from 10AM until time of funeral service 12 noon at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet St. (two blocks North of Illinois Route 53 / Baltimore Street) in Wilmington. Pastor Ron Taylor will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Wilmington.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Heather's memory to her family for distribution to charities of their choosing.
