Harry Kukla

HARRY S. KUKLA, Jr. Age 71 of South Holland, passed away Sunday September 13, 2009 at Ingalls Memorial Hospital Harvey. Born April 29, 1938 in Chicago to the late Harry S. & Mary (Giertych) Kukla, Sr. also preceded in death by three sisters Betty Hemphill, Shirley Robson and Dolly Stewart, one brother Mickey Kukla. Survived by his loving wife of 35 years Alice Fay (Davis) Kukla; two daughters Kathi (LaNel) Palmer of Homewood and Tammie (Rob) Houlf of Blue Island; three grandsons Jeremy, Ricky and Tommie; two Step-grandchildren Heather and Robbie; one step great Grandson Aiden; one brother Richard (June)Kukla of Arizona, one sister Arlene Kukla of Indiana; brother-in-law to Bonnie Southall of Wilmington, Steve Hemphill of CA and James Stewart of MS. Also survived by his former wife and friend Carol and numerous nieces and nephews. Veteran of the US Army serving in Germany. Former employee of Republic Steel of Chicago and US Steel of Chicago and member of the Supervisor's Club. Harry was a member Trilminar Lodge # 767 of Lansing, IL. Visitation Wednesday Sept 16, 2009 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Freitag Funeral Home 700 East Kahler, Wilmington,IL 60481. Services at the funeral home Thursday Sept 17, 2009 at 11:00AM. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery Wilmington with military honors by the U.S. Army. Memorials to the First Presbyterian Church of Wilmington would be appreciated.
