Harry Christensen

Age 81 of Coal City, passed away Wednesday evening, February 22, 2012 at his home.

Born May 7, 1930 in Chicago, Harry was a son of the late Harry and Winifred Miksuwicz-Christensen. He was raised and educated in Chicago and Hinsdale and honorably served as in the United States Marine Corp from 1951 to 1953. On February 5, 1955, Harry married Patricia Birr and she survives.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Harry's life will be held at his beloved lake property in the Summer of 2012.

Inurnment will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.

Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Harry's memory to Make A Wish Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
