Gloria Ferrari Gomora

Age 89 of Lisle and formerly of Coal City, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Villa St. Benedict in Lisle.

Born September 21, 1926 in Kankakee County, Gloria was a daughter of the late Eliseo and Dorothy (Monferdini) Ferrari. She was employed at the Joliet School of Beauty Culture, as a manager for approximately 20 years, and also owned two beauty shops: one in Joliet and one in Coal City. Gloria later worked in real estate with Onorato Real Estate in Coal City.

Surviving are a sister Diane Asche, and many nieces and nephews.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; husband James F. Gomora in 2000; two sisters and six brothers.

Cremation rites are being accorded and inurnment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Braidwood, where Gloria will be laid to rest with her husband.
