Geraldine Margaret Paraday

Age 78 of Wilmington, formerly Chicago, passed away Monday morning, September 9, 2013 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Born July 25, 1935 in Chicago, Geraldine was a daughter of the late Chris and Margaret Borcherding. She was raised and educated in Chicago, and worked as a sales clerk, retiring from Manheim Auto Auction after 21 years of service. Geraldine enjoyed crocheting and watching the Chicago Bears in her free time.

Survivors include six children: Glenn Paraday of Flordia, Margie (Greg) Fierke of Racine, Wisconsin, Carol Paraday of Tinley Park, Susan (Bill) Soulian of Wilmington, Clay (Sherri) Paraday of Wilmington, and Ken (Amy) Paraday of Arkansas; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, as well as, many nieces and nephews.

Cremation rights have been accorded and a private family inurnment will be held in Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park in Willow Springs, Illinois.
