Georgina Walker

Age 60 of Coal City, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2007 at Morris Hospital.

Born April 26, 1947 in Joliet, Georgina was a daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Zinser) DeZee. She was raised and educated in Joliet and a graduate of Joliet Central High School. Georgina enjoyed her grandchildren, cooking, gardening and playing Bunko.

Survivors include her four children: Michlyn (Thomas) Frick of Coal City, twins Patricia and Pamela Simon of Coal City, and Joseph H. Simon of Plainfield; four grandchildren: Sarah, Kayla, Emily and Joey; two sisters: Marylin (Joseph) Friebele and Peggy (the late David) Yanchick; one brother: William (Phyllis) DeZee; special niece and nephew Allison (Allan) Lawson and Matthew (Jenny) Yanchick, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

Georgina was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Harold R. DeZee Jr. and David E. DeZee.

Visitation and video tribute will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 from 4:00PM until time of funeral service at 6:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Pastor Jennifer Seder will officiate.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Georgina's memory to the family for distribution to a charity of their choosing.
