George Morin

Age 45 of Chicago, passed away suddenly on Monday October 27, 2008 at his home.

Born January 11, 1963 in Chicago, George is a son of Paul B. Morin and the late Lulah Mae Hinds-Morin. He was raised and educated in the Dolton and Summit, Illinois areas and was employed as a truck driver.

Survivors include his father Paul Morin of Watervalley, Mississippi; two daughters: Nicole (Robert) Rub of Phoenix, Arizona and Candace Morin of Channahon; one grandson Jude Rub; one brother Michael Morin of Lansing, Illinois; two sisters: Corinne (Tom) Stodola and Michelle (Frank Hewel) Morin; his nephew and Godson Jason Stodola and other nieces and nephews: Bret, Bobby, Trevor, Nicholas, Cary and Aaron, as well as his best friend Toni.

George was preceded in death by his mother and two brothers: Robert and Paul Morin.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 30, 2008 at 4:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block East of Illinois Route 47) in Morris. Pastor Steve Larson will officiate and visitation will follow Thursday until 8:00PM.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in George's memory to his family for distribution to local charities of their choosing.
