George Magnett

Age 48 of Braceville and formerly Nevada, passed away Wednesday evening December 17, 2008 at Hines VA Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.

Born May 27, 1960 in Portland, Oregon, George was a son of the late George James, Sr. and Elvira Orona-Magnett.

George was recently attending Christian Life Assembly of God Church in Diamond and was known for his love of the outdoors. George enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, kayaking and living life to the fullest.

Survivors include his sister Maria (Charles) Williams of Braceville; nieces and nephews: Sasha Aistrop of Michigan, Bianca (Kevin) Cripe of Gardner and George Mayo and Windi Williams, both of Braceville and one uncle William Magnett of Oregon.

George was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Monday December 22, 2008 from 5:00PM until time of funeral service 7:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in George's memory to the Hines VA Hospice Program.
