Geneva L. Hill, nee Brown, age 90 of Wilmington passed away peacefully Wednesday May 5, 2010 in Joliet.
Born on July 13, 1919 in Bloomington Springs, Tennessee to the late Morgan and Birdie Brown. Geneva married Ernest "Hank" Hill on November 1, 1942 after college graduation, moving to Illinois in 1960, where Hank was employed as a nuclear engineer for Argonne National Laboratories and Gen was employed for Sears in Joliet for numerous years. Gen greatly loved her family, friends, gardening, shopping and was always a fashion plate, down to her gold or leopard print shoes.
Survived by her two loving daughters: Janice (Steve - deceased) Chinski of Wilmington and Nancy Hill of Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Preceded by her parents, husband Hank, three brothers: Arnold, Colus and Howard Brown and one sister Una Mabry.
Visitation Monday May 10th from 10AM till time of service 12 Noon. Rev. H. Jae Lee of the 1st United Methodist Church officiating. Interment in Kendallville, Indiana.
