Gary A. Jagus

Age 65 of Morris, passed away Friday evening, August 4, 2017 at his home.

Born August 14, 1951 in Nashville, Tennessee, Gary Alan was a son of Stanley and Della Irene (Jennings) Jaguszczak. He was raised in Joliet and graduated from Joliet East with the Class of 1969. On March 5, 1977, Gary married Brenda Barnett in the First Christian Church in Joliet.

Gary was the owner and operator of Gary’s Cycle Service in Morris, and will be remembered for his love of motorcycles and snowmobiling. In his free time he enjoyed playing online poker.

Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Brenda; one sister-in-law Dana Harrison of Kentucky, one niece Jessica and two nephews, Drew and Sean.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Robert Jagus.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block north of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Gary’s memory to Joliet Area Community Hospice.
