Fred Edwards

Age 85 of Wilmington, passed away Thursday evening, June 15, 2017 at Parker Nursing and Rehabilitation in Streator.

Born March 23, 1932 in Aurora Township, Frederick James was a son of the late Henry L. and Goldie (Shropshire) Edwards. Fred was a longtime resident at Trinity Services in Wilmington where many people grew to know and admire him.

Survivors include his sister Carol (Joe) Rausch of Aurora, and niece Ann Jacobson of Millbrook.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew: Steven Jacobson

Per Fred's wishes cremation rites have been accorded and a private inurnment will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Montgomery at a later date.
