Frances Lenore Orr

Age 72 of Gardner, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening June 22, 2011 at Morris Hospital.

Born May 27, 1939 in Anna, Illinois, Frances was a daughter of the late Samuel Andrew and Henrietta Smoot-Leslie.

Survivors include her life partner Herb Norton of Gardner; five children: Cynthia Lenore Streiler, Jess Franklin Gordon, Sandra Pauline Hofer, Cecil Samuel Orr, Jr. and Anthony Ray Orr; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; five sisters: Margie, Marilyn, Gloria, Kathy and Dinah and two brothers: Brian and Benny, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Brenda.

Cremation rites have been accorded per the wishes of the family, and a memorial service and inurnment will take place in Missouri.
