Florence Providence Raspanti Langer

Age 93, of Gardner, Illinois and formerly Chicago and Florida, passed away Friday evening, September 2, 2022, at Acradia Care in Morris, Illinois.

Born March 9, 1929, in Chicago, a daughter to Joseph and Lucille (Farano) Raspanti. Florence married Clem Langer, who preceded her in death. She worked as a waitress for most of her life, and loved playing bingo. Florence's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include three grandchildren: Michael Anthony (Kara) Raspanti of Mokena, Illinois, Brian Keith Barnes of Mt. Greenwood, Illinois and Gina Marie Barnes of Joliet, Illinois; seven great-grandchildren: Michael Anthony Raspanti, Anthony Wayne Raspanti, Chuck Barnes, Tyler Barnes, Emily Barnes, Fayetina DeMatteo and Elizabeth DeMatteo; three great-great grandsons: Isiah Barnes, Cayson Raspanti and Everett Raspanti; one sister Theresa Irving of Downers Grove and one brother Nick Raspanti of Hickory Hills.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents; husband Clem; one daughter, Theresa Raspanti Barnes, and seven brothers and sisters.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
