Together, Florence and John resided most of their married life in the home that they built in Morris. Through the years, Florence helped raise many children as well as assisted her parents with Newell's Motel. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Morris. Florence enjoyed spending her free time attending all of her Grandsons' activities. She was also known for her chocolate chip cookies and enjoyed having coffee with her special group of friends. Florence was a Chicago Cubs, ICS, and Morris Redskins fan. She will always be remembered as having many memorable summer days at her sister Vivian's cabin in Northern Wisconsin. Aside from spending time with her family and friends, Florence truly enjoyed phone calls from her loved ones.
In her last days her family asked her, "What do you need?". Her answer was "freedom". She is now free. Miss her, remember her, smile for her. She lives in everyone she touched.
