Florence Breier

Age 81 of Lake Shannon and formerly Grant Park, passed away Saturday evening February 22, 2014 at Morris Hospital.

Born March 30, 1932 in Chicago, Florence was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Dehlia Hubbard-Clawson, and the wife of the late John Breier. She retired from Michael Leonard Seed Company in Grant Park. Florence will be remembered for her love of sewing and crocheting, as well as spending time with her family.

Survivors include her sister Myrtle (the late Thomas) Malloy and brother Richard (Sandra) Lidy, both of Oak Lawn and three nieces: Carolyn (Carl) Kaczmarek of Lake Shannon, Judith Jutton of Oak Lawn and Margaret (Michael) Underwood of Frankfort, as well as numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Florence was preceded in death by her husband John in 1989; brother James Lidy and two great nephews: John Manzello and Chuck Reynolds.

Visitation and video tribute will be held on Wednesday February 26, 2014 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 203 Liberty Street in Gardner. Funeral services will follow Thursday morning at 10:00AM in Saint Lawrence Catholic Church, 165 East Rice Road in South Wilmington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Reverend John Hornicak officiating. Burial will be in Saint Patrick Cemetery, Momence.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Florence's memory to the American Heart Association.
