Fannie Hazel Tosh Age 87 of Wilmington and formerly a resident of Bluefield, West Virginia for over 40 years, died suddenly July 30, 2007 after a short illness. Miss Tosh was never married, however, she contributed so much to so many children in her lifetime. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Miss Tosh was born in Crumpler, West Virginia and served as a WAVE during WWII and was involved in many charities including children overseas and the Union Mission in Bluefield. She is survived by her only living brother Thomas H. Tosh of Wilmington and formerly Bluefield; six nieces and nephews; sixteen great nieces and great nephews and four great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Miss Tosh will be buried in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood on Friday, August 10, 2007 at 11:00AM. Friends wishing to attend may meet at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 N. Joliet St. in Wilmington at 10:15AM to process to the cemetery. She will receive full military honors as a Disabled American Veteran.
