Evelyn S. Swenhaugen

Evelyn S. Swenhaugen, 102, of Seneca, passed away late Friday evening, December 11, 2020 at the Morris Hospital.
Born July 30, 1918 in Morris, she was the daughter of Peter and Esther (Anderson) Hausken. She attended Seneca High School. Evelyn married Marvin Swenhaugen on June 13, 1943 at the Stavanger Lutheran Church. For most of their married life they lived in Seneca. She was employed for several years at the Seneca Grade School.
She is survived by her daughter, Sonia (Gary) Delockery of Morris; two grandsons, Jason Delockery and Carl (companion, Deborah Banting) Delockery both of Morris; two great grandsons, Connor and Blake Delockery; two sisters, Shirley Seidler of Morris and Helen Baker of Verona; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her loving husband, Marvin in 2002; four brothers, Orville, Russell, Earl and Norman Hausken; three sisters, Clara Hauge, Lois Anderson and Doris Olson.
She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Seneca.
She was a Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Our Saviors Lutheran Church or Stavanger Lutheran Church.
Private funeral services for the family will be held at the Stavanger Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Stavanger Cemetery.
