Evelyn F. Rock

Age 85 of Channahon and formerly Morris, passed away Sunday August 23, 2009 at her home.

Born September 25, 1923 in Harvey, IL, Evelyn was a daughter of the late Guy and Bessie Turner-Wilson. She will always be remembered as a great mother and grandmother.

Survivors include one daughter Janet (Brian) Foltz of Minnesota; one son Mark (Vicki) Rock of Channahon; six grandchildren: Sharon, Kathleen, Lisa, Michael, Lauren and Jacob; six great grandchildren; two brothers: Richard (Bonnie) Wilson of Washington and Harry Wilson of Hazelcrest and one sister-in-law Shirley Wilson of Thorton, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband Wency Rock; five brothers: Earl, Leo, Jim, Ben and one brother in infancy, and two sisters: Margaret and Esther.

The family will receive friends on Sunday August 30, 2009 from 2:00PM until time of memorial service 3:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block East of Illinois Route 47) in Morris. Reverend Richard Smith from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church will officiate.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Evelyn's memory to Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Waterstone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431.
