Esther Marie Wilson

Age 88 of Morris, passed away Thursday January 27, 2008 at Walnut Grove Village in Morris.

Born September 23, 1919 in Harvey, Esther was a daughter of the late Guy and Bessie Turner-Wilson. She was raised and educated in Harvey and graduated from Thorton Township High School. Esther attended X-Ray Training in South Chicago Hospital and worked her entire life as an X-Ray Technician in Idaho until her retirement. She moved to the area in 1991 and was a member of Crystal Lawns Church of the Nazarene in Joliet. In her free time Esther loved to read the Bible and enjoyed the outdoors.

Survivors include: one sister Evelyn (the late Wency) Rock of Morris, two brothers: Richard (Bonnie) Wilson of Washington and Harry (the late Beverly) Wilson of Hazel Crest and one sister-in-law Shirley Wilson of Thorton, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Esther was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Earl Wilson, Leo Wilson, Margaret Jager, Ben (Jean) Wilson and Jim Wilson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 09, 2008 at 10:00AM in Crystal Lawns Church of the Nazarene, 2424 Caton Farm Road in Joliet with Pastor Steven Cook officiating.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Esther's memory to Crystal Lawns Church of the Nazarene, 2424 Caton Farm Road, Joliet, Illinois 60435.
