Age 42 of Wilmington and formerly of Boulder City, Nevada, passed away suddenly Tuesday, December 15, 2015.

Born January 21, 1973 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Eric was the son of the late Michael and Patricia (Gillian) Smith.  He worked construction and enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his three children; brother and sisters: Rob (Beth) Smith of Wilmington, Kimberly (Bill) Athou of Pearl City, Hawaii, and Jennifer (Jeremy) McGiness of Lexington, Nebraska.

Eric was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
