Eric David Douglas

Age 53 of Morris, passed away Sunday afternoon, July 19, 2015 at Regency Care in Morris.

Born March 31, 1962 in Chicago, Eric was a son of Edward and Doris (Handy) Douglas. He was a graduate of Julian High School in Chicago and worked in Banking with Bank of America. Prior to residing in Morris, Eric lived in Chicago, as well as Richmond, Virginia. Eric was an avid fisherman, and if it wasn't for his children, would have fished every day and night. He was also computer savvy, and enjoyed rebuilding computers with his eldest son Eric, Jr. Eric was a caring, giving man, who took pleasure in donating goods to the homeless. He will also be remembered for his love of participating and being part of secret Santa during the Christmas season.

Survivors include his children: Eric Douglas, Jr., Daniel Douglas and Tatianna Douglas; granddaughter Anaiya Edmonds and special friend Loretta Anderson-Temple.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
