Age 74 of Coal City, passed away Saturday April 3, 2010 at Embassy Care Center in Wilmington.

Born March 31, 1936 in Tellico Plains, Tennessee, Elmer was a son of the late Charles and Martha White-Bell. He was raised and educated in Tennessee and retired from Commonwealth Edison in 1991. Elmer was known for his love of golfing.

Survivors include his wife Sandy (nee Viano); three children: Mike Bell, David Bell and Rhonda Wiggins, all of Madera, California; three step children: Jerry (Ronda) Seybert of Braidwood and Danny Seybert and Kim (Mike) Marchese, both of Coal City; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister Mary Lou Hunt of Rockford; one sister-in-law Sharon Viano of Morris and numerous nieces and nephews.

Elmer was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers: Beecher, Harold, Carl, Charles and Cliff and two sisters: Mae and Emma Sue.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Tuesday April 6, 2010 from 1:00PM until time of service 5:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City with Brother Bruce Jensen officiating.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Elmer's memory to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.
