"Betty"

Age 88 of Wilmington, passed away Thursday morning, October 13, 2016 at Miller Rehabilitation Center in Kankakee.

Born May 30, 1928 in Joliet, Elizabeth was a daughter of Joseph and Delia (Hazer) Tenn. She was raised and educated in Braidwood and married John N. Osburn, who later preceded her in death. Betty later married Elmer Drauden, who also preceded her. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington and worked as a salesperson for Avon. Betty enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking and canning. She was a self taught organist and cherished time spent with her family.

Survivors include her children: Pam (Mike) Williams and Trish Bennett, both of Coal City, Jonnie Beth (Jim) Kwasneske and Nial (Barbara) Osburn, both of Wilmington, Kenneth (Nancy) Osburn of Knox, Indiana, Merle Osburn of Birchwood, Wisconsin and Melissa Bushue of Coal City; (11) grandchildren: Michele (Tom) Minnick of Coal City, Bob (Vicky) Williams of Braidwood, Mary (Don) Harrington of Coal City, Walter (Jana) Bennett of Madison, Alabama, John Bennett of Killen, Alabama, Jeremy Osburn of Knox, Indiana, Ryan Osburn of Morton, Illinois, Carly Osburn of Kempton, Illinois, Kyle Bushue and Tiffini Bushue, both of Bloomington, Illinois and Valerie Bushue of Coal City; (13) great grandchildren: Michael, Cody, Hannah, Jordan, Reilley, Justin, Declan, Camden, Brett, Brooke, Bailey, Ally and Josh; one great-great grandson D.J. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; first husband John Osburn; second husband Elmer Drauden; one daughter-in-law Theresa Osburn; two sons-in-law: Walter Bennett and Kenneth Bushue and nine brothers and sisters: Marie Huska, Catherine Fleming, Irma Nelson, Bernadine Tomsich, Lorraine Lay, Edward Tenn, William Tenn, Eugene Tenn and Donald Tenn.

Visitation and video tribute will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2016 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow Monday morning, October 17th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Reverend Steve Bondi from Saint Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Wilmington, where Betty will be laid to rest with her late husband John.
