Edna Mae Denham, 89, of Minooka, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024 at her home with her loving family by her side.
She was born February 18, 1935 to Charlie and Rheba (Pettypool) Whisenhunt.
She was married to Vernon Denham December 4, 1955. She was a homemaker for many years. Later, she worked at Jempco and Community Service Center for 5 years.
She is survived by Eddie (Carol) Denham of Earlville, IL; Grandchildren Edward Denham of Peru, IL. Emily and (Michael) Wasilewski of Hennepin, IL; 4 Great-Grandchildren Devin of Peru, IL, Levi of Ottawa, IL; Megan and Madison of Hennepin, IL.
She is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
She is also survived by two Brothers-In-Law Herbert Denham of Mt. Vernon; Charles Williamson of Trenton, IL; and Lovell Denham of Belle Rive, IL.
She is preceded in Death by her Parents, Son Tracy Denham. Two brothers Lester and Melvin Whisenhust. Three Sisters Mary Ellen Johnson; Charlene Williamson; and Sue Wolf.
She was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Freedom Baptist Church, 409 S. Main Street, Seneca, IL.
Visitation will be held at the Fruland Funeral Home, 121 West Jefferson Street, in Morris, on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 5pm-7pm. Funeral services will be held at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina, Illinois on Friday, December 13 at 11am. A short visitation will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 from 10 am until 11 am.
