Earline Welsh

Earline Welsh (nee Beck)

Age 86 of Wilmington and formerly of Bourbonnais, passed away Saturday evening January 16, 2015 at Presence Our Lady of Victory in Bourbonnais.

Born March 14, 1928 in Sesser, Illinois, Earline was a daughter of the late Earl and Ema (Eubanks) Beck. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington and formerly belonged to Maternity BVM Parish in Bourbonnais, where she was actively involved. Earline was employed as the Activities Director at Bourbonnais Terrace Nursing Home in Bourbonnais for many years, and after retirement worked for several of the downtown merchants in Wilmington, lastly Guest House Antiques. She had a love for antiques, in past years enjoyed sewing, and took great pleasure in reading.

Survivors include her children: Michelle (Louis) Caligiuri of Bisbee, Arizona and Lyndal Yung of Valley View, Texas; grandchildren: Erin Zwahlen, Jake Zwahlen, Amy Yung and Ellen Yung; great granddaughter: Lila Huvert, and siblings: Clatie (John) Bursich, Dixie Spotanski and Connie Maddox, all of Sesser, as well as dear friend Rosie Horn and dedicated caregiver Paula Ekstrom, both of Wilmington.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of memorial service 10:00 a.m. at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. Reverend Steve Bondi from Saint Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington will officiate.
