Age 55 of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday evening, June 7, 2011 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.

Born July 8, 1955 in Joliet, Douglas is a son of Lonnie and Sylvia Langevin-Randolph of Joliet. He was raised and educated in Joliet and attended Saint Patrick's Catholic School and Joliet Catholic High School. On December 28, 1974, Douglas married Jody Macier in the Cathedral of Saint Raymond Nonnatus and together they made their home in Wilmington. For the past 25 years, Douglas has been the owner and operator of Rand Marine Group. He was fortunate to have been able to boat all around the world and his work beyond doubt, was what he loved. Aside from boating, Douglas also enjoyed fishing and golfing, and can be remembered as always being willing to help others. He furthermore truly cherished the time spent with his family and grandchildren. He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church in Coal City and the Joliet Yachting Club.

Survivors include his parents; wife of 36 years: Jody; two children: Douglas R. Randolph, II (Dawn) of Bradley, Illinois and Loni Haddock (Michael) of Sugar Grove, Illinois; four grandchildren: Macie Cox, Jack Haddock, Taylor Haddock, Rory Haddock; two sisters: Luanne Randolph (Kathy Mazur) of Joliet, Illinois and Jill Scholtes (Jeff) of Morris, Illinois; one aunt Lorraine Cottle (Ed) of Cape Cod, Massachusetts; brothers and sisters-in-law: Mary Lou Gomora (Les) of Naperville, Illinois, Chuck Macier (Mary Anne) of Plainfield, Illinois, Laurie Garland (Ed) of Channahon, Illinois, Rita Bradley of Joliet, Illinois and Jim Macier of Coal City, Illinois, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Douglas was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law: Charles and Mary Macier.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Friday June 10, 2011 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow Saturday June 11th at 11:30AM in Assumption Catholic Church, 245 South Kankakee Street in Coal City, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Reverend Robert Noesen officiating.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Douglas' memory to Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, Illinois 60431 or Our Lade of Angels, 1201 Wyoming Avenue, Joliet, Illinois 60435.
