Dorothy London

Age 87 of Morris passed away Tuesday March 31, 2015 at Morris Hospital.

Born April 23, 1927 in Whitewater, Missouri, Dorothy Mae was a daughter of the late William Sylvanus and Nancy (Hedge) Kinnison.  She was raised and educated in Missouri and on July 7, 1946, Dorothy married Lloyd London.  She will be remembered for her baking and enjoyment of fishing, but mostly for her love of her grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by two sons: Dwayne (Elaine) London of Morris and Kenneth London of Marseilles; ten grandchildren: Darin London, Mike (Michelle) London, Robert (Gayle) London, Gerald London, Steve London, Mark London, Kenny London, Brian London, Jim London and Dorothy London; seven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and one sister Juanita Pogue of Marble Hill, Missouri.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lloyd (1996), and six brothers and sisters.

Friends and family will gather on Saturday April 11, 2015, from 10:00 AM until time of memorial service,  11:00 AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block east of Route 47) in Morris. Reverend Dr. Roy Backus will officiate, and a private family inurnment will follow in Zion Grove Cemetery in Dix, Illinois at a later date.
