DORA B. ROPER

Age 68 of Wilmington, passed away Saturday November 24, 2007 at her home.

Born May 6, 1939 in Otwell, Arkansas, Dora is a daughter of the late William and Bertha Keck.

Dora is survived by her son John W. (Michelle) Roper of West Frankfort, IL; four brothers: William Ray Keck of Alabama, Kenneth H. (Sandra) Keck of Missouri, Jerry W. (Carol) Keck of Elwood and James E. (Linda) Keck of Braidwood; her beloved sister and caregiver Edith Keck of Wilmington, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Dora is preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard, and brother Charles.

Visitation will be Wednesday November 28, 2007 from 11am until time of funeral service at 12:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (two blocks North of Illinois Route 53 / Baltimore Street) in Wilmington. Chaplain Sandra M. Hafey of the Joliet Community Hospice will officiate.

Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Wilmington.

Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Dora's memory to Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, Illinois 60431.
