Mrs. Vernon (Donna J.) Arnold

Age 64 of Williford, Arkansas and formerly Carbon Hill, passed away peacefully on Friday September 21, 2007 in her home.

Born February 15, 1943 in Bloomington, Illinois Donna is a daughter of Marjorie and Dominic Ferrara of Mazon. On March 25, 1961 Donna married Vernon L. Arnold in Carmi, Illinois, and together they lived in Carbon Hill prior to retiring to Arkansas. Donna loved to quilt, sew and spend time with her grandchildren.

Donna is survived by her husband Vernon, a daughter Dee Dee (Jerry) Haff, Kinsman, Illinois, a son Brian (Stephanie) Arnold of Corning, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren Heather (David) Mitchell and Anthony, Chris, Robert, Thomas, Lindsay, Zach, and Danielle Arnold all of Arkansas, Salli (Richard) Bowen, Missouri, Jerry (Connie) Haff of Marseilles and Randy (fiancAC. Crystal) Haff and Becki (John) Matlock both of Coal City; seven great-grand children with one on the way; her parents Dominic and Marjorie Ferrara of Mazon, a sister Renee (Roger Haacke) Bannon; brothers: Richard (Beth) Ferrara, Dana (Rhonda) Ferrara, and Dale (Carla) Ferrara and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son Kevin in infancy, a sister Eva Lindemuth and her grandparents.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Wednesday September 26, 2007 between the hours of 5:00PM and 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow on Thursday September 27th at 10:00AM in the funeral home.

Burial will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery and Donna's nephews will act as pallbearers and grandchildren will act as honorary pallbearers.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Donna's memory to a charity of the donor's choice.
