DONALD D. RARIDON

Age 90 of Wilmington passed away Wednesday Jan. 20, 2010 at the Villa Franciscan in Joliet. Born Feb. 18, 1919 in Lima, OH to the late Dell & Pearl (Lighty) Raridon also preceded in death By his wife Stella (2003) and one brother Lloyd Raridon. Survived by his son Donald Lee (Janice) Raridon of CA; two grandchildren Angela and Chris Raridon; three great grandchildren Kyle, Jacob and Trey Raridon all of California; one brother Dell (Joan) Raridon of Wilmington and a Sister Doris (Joel) Clifton of Mississippi numerous nieces and nephews. Member of the First United Methodist Church Wilmington holding offices of trustee, Building, Finance & Nominating Commitees, Sunday school teacher, Men's Club and a Confirmation Mentor. Member of the Wilmington Masonic Lodge. Veteran of WW II serving with the U.S. Coast Guard. Former employee of APSA(Joliet Arsenal) and Four K Automotive of Kankakee. Don's pastimes included Wilmington Wildcat Backers Club, travel with friends & family and A fan of car racing and the North Central College Cardinals. Visitation Sunday Jan. 24, 2010 from 1 to 5PM at the Freitag Funeral Home. Services on Monday Jan. 25, 2010 at 11:00AM with Rev. Hyujae Lee officiating at the funeral home. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery Wilmington. In lieu of flowers memorials to Korean Missions 2010 at the First United Methodist Church of Wilmington would be appreciated.
