Age 69 of Wilmington, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Aperion Care in Wilmington.

Born May 27, 1947 in Chicago, Diane Kathleen was a daughter of the late James and Charlotte (Chernowski) Vlasak. She was raised and educated in Chicago, and went on to attend Lewis University, as well as College of DuPage, where she earned her Master's degree in Counseling and Psychology. In 1977, Diane joined on as the program director for Prisoners Release Ministries, and would later on September 4, 1978 marry it's founder Roger Logue. Roger wrote over 7.5 million dollars in grants for the Ministry, which he and Diane directed. They were proud to have placed over 15,000 individuals in jobs, with a 70% job retention rate. Diane was a good hearted, kind and generous person, who just wanted to help people. Some of her enjoyments included warm water diving, cave and cliff diving. She was a master scuba diving instructor, and surpassed certifying more than 400 trainees. She also took pleasure in training dogs and was not only proud to own, but train and show her Dachshund, which earned the title of grand champion. Diane was worldly traveled and leaves behind of legacy of service to others.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years Roger Logue; mother-in-law, and step-daughter, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents and one brother James Vlasak.

Green Flameless Cremation Rites have been accorded and family will receive friends for a memorial visitation on Friday, January 20th from 10:00 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 401 East Kahler Road in Wilmington.
