Diana Lynn Meyer

Age 55 of Wilmington, formerly Coal City, passed away August 5, 2013 at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

Born May 19, 1958 in Joliet, Diana is the daughter of Mary Hansen of Wilmington and the late Richard "Bootsy" Hansen. She was raised and educated in Wilmington and greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her mother; three children: Michael (Kori) Hansen of Wilmington, Jeremy (Kim) Durham of Lincoln, and Brad Meyer of Germany; four grandchildren: Isabel, Kylie, Kody, and Mackenzie; one brother Rick (Becky) Hansen of Wilmington and her special friend Mike Harris of Coal City.

Diana was preceded in death by her father and one brother James Glen Hansen.

Visitation and video tribute will be held Sunday August 11, 2013 between the hours of 2:00PM and 5:00PM at Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow Monday August 12th at 1:00PM in the funeral home.

Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Wilmington.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Diana's memory to her family for their distribution.
