Derek Cramer

Age 41 of Custer Park, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at his home.

Born March 27, 1976 in Joliet, Derek Walter was a son of Walter R. Cramer and Cynthia (nee Perkins) Fredrick.  He was raised and educated in Custer Park and graduated from Reed-Custer High School with the class of 1994. After High School Derek went onto work alongside his father at Cramer Flooring Sales and Installation. He was a former member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Derek enjoyed spending time at the lake with his friends, being with his grandfather and most of all, loved his dog Liara. Derek was a loyal and caring friend and brother to so many.

Survivors include his mother, Cynthia of South Jordan, Utah; three brothers: Wesley and Austin Cramer of Custer Park and Richard Fredrick of Mokena; cousins: Charmaine and Walter Wright.

Derek was preceded in death by his father, Walter R. Cramer.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (1091 Stratford Dr E) in Bourbonnais.
