Deloris A. Cantrell

Age 72 of Wilmington, passed away Wednesday evening October 5, 2011 at her home.

Born February 28, 1939 in Elliot , Illinois Deloris was a daughter of the late Bernice and Marceline Logan-Goad. She moved to Wilmington at the age of six and was educated in Wilmington . Deloris married Johnny C. Cantrell in Joliet on March 16, 1957 and together they made Wilmington their home. In her spare time Deloris enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and loved to work outside in the yard, especially in her flower garden.

Survivors include her three loving daughters: Diane (Larry) Mandrachia of Fairview, New Jersey, Debbie (Fiance' Tony Bruno) Hansen of Wilmington and Judy (Rodney) Jones of Custer Park; five cherished grandchildren: Elizabeth, Jennifer (Fiance' Gino Sculco) and Larry John Mandrachia, Megan Hansen and Madison Jones; three brothers: Larry (Donna) Goad and Rick (Darlene) Goad, both of Braidwood and Ron Goad of Hidalgo, Illinois: three sisters: Bev Williams of Peru, Indiana, Pam (Steve) Ritter of Mobile, Alabama and Joan Adams of Wilmington, and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her special companion Abby.

Deloris was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband Johnny on March 9, 1996 and three brothers: Don Goad, Dennis Goad and Chester Goad.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 10:00am until time of funeral service 2:00pm at Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Wilmington.

Pallbearers will be: Rodney Jones, Tony Bruno, Larry Mandrachia, Larry John Mandrachia, Gino Sculco and Larry Goad.
