Deborah Anne Schmidt

Age 53 of Wilmington and formerly Braidwood, passed away Tuesday December 9, 2014 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Born October 18, 1961 in Joliet, Debbie was a daughter of the late Charlotte (Dougherty) Schmidt, who preceded her on May 12, 2013. She attended Trinity School from grade school through high school in the 1960's and 1970's, and was receiving services from Trinity Services, Inc. for the past several years. Debbie will be remembered as an outgoing and friendly individual, who never met a stranger. She enjoyed magazines and will be truly missed by many.

She is survived by her friend Necia Dickerman of Wilmington, as well as many friends at Trinity Services.

Debbie was preceded in death by her mother and several aunts and uncles.

Services for Debbie will be held at the Mount Olivet Cemetery Committal Chapel, located at West Street and East Kahler Road in Wilmington on Friday December 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. In the spirit of Debbie's love of the color Red, all attendees are encouraged to wear something red on that day in her memory.

Burial will follow and Debbie will be laid to rest with her mother Charlotte.
