Age 62 of Morris and formerly of Lockport, passed away Wednesday morning October 29, 2014 at her home.

Born August 18, 1952 in Chicago, Deborah Roxanne is a daughter of Florence "Mickey" (Eichstaedt) Ball of Homer Glen and the late Ronald Massey. She was a 1970 graduate of Lockport Township High School. Deb was a great crafter, and there was nothing that she couldn't do. Her artsy and whimsical flair attracted her to Josephine Wall puzzles, and a tremendous collection of angels. Deb was fashion driven, and loved jewelry. She was passionate about animals and was a true loyal friend, as well as an exceptional mother and grandmother. Deb leaves behind many memorable memories of fun in the sun and water, as well as trips with her husband Rick.

Survivors include her husband Richard "Rick" Morley, Jr., whom she married August 23, 2003; her mother Mickey (Charles) Ball of Homer Glen; daughter Candace (Willie) Murphree of Decatur, Texas; sons: Joshua (Michelle) Gibson of Wellington, Florida and Jeremiah (Kristin) Gibson of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; step-sons: Nicholas Morley and Derek Morley, both of Morris; seven grandchildren: Cody, Collin, Baylee, Chase, Aidan, Alyssa and Jeremiah; father and mother-in-law: Richard, Sr. and Hazel Morley of McHenry; brother Craig (Lydia) Massey of Plainfield; sister Rhonda (Larry) Egeland of Homer Glen; three brothers-in-law: Michael (Pam) Morley and Gary (Deb) Morley, both of McHenry and Brad (Barb) Morley of Roxanna, Illinois, and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her life-long friend Deb Bogwill of Morris.

Deb was preceded in death by her father and one daughter Courtney Jean Gibson (1975)

Green cremation rites have been accorded.

A celebration of Deb's life will be held on Monday November 3, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until time of memorial service 7:00 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block East of Illinois Route 47) in Morris.

Inurnment will be in Lockport City Cemetery, where Deb will be laid to rest with her daughter Courtney.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Deb's memory to a pet related or animal rescue charity of the donor's choosing.
