Age 52 of Goose Lake, passed away suddenly Monday February 11, 2008.

Born November 02, 1955 in Joliet, Dean is a son of Evelyn (nee Perino) and the late Donald Decker. He was a graduate of Gardner South Wilmington High School with the Class of 1973 and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Dean enjoyed working on electronics, fishing, camping and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his mother Evelyn Decker of Braceville; wife Peggy (nee Proffitt); one son Sean Decker of Braidwood; two daughters: Ashley Decker and Madison Decker, both of Goose Lake and five brothers: Rick (Gail) Decker of Braceville, Steve (Lisa) Decker of Alabama, Kenneth (Sabrina) Decker of Iowa, Roger (Cindy) Decker of Gardner and David (Toni) Decker of Morris, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Dean was preceded in death by his father, sister Susan and special grandmother Perino, as well as his other maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be Friday February 15, 2008 between the hours of 4:00PM and 7:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. A private family funeral service will follow and interment will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.

Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Dean's memory to his family for distribution to local charities of their choice.
