Age 50 of Coal City, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 15, 2016.

Born July 11, 1966 in Chicago, Dawn is a daughter of Rose (James) Panfil of Godley and Ronnie (Kathy) Waymire of Countryside.

Survivors include her parents; her husband Robert Gagnon, whom she married July 9, 1998; four children: Rob (Alyssa) Hicks of Coal City, Robert (Crystal) Gagnon of Alsip and Cody (Jessica) Hicks and Dakota Gagnon, both of Coal City; grandchildren: Adam, Ayden, Amelia, Jeremy, Alex, Cole, Lilly and Jack; brother and sisters: Denise Gerloski of Chicago, Sandy (Michael) King of Joliet, Ronnie, Jr. (Patty) Waymire of Justice, Kaylee Waymire of Countryside, and Maria Ankarla of Brookfield, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block north of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Graveside services will follow Wednesday morning, September 21st at 10:30 a.m. in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood. Family and friends wishing to attend the cemetery services are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. to leave in procession at 9:30 a.m.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Dawn's memory to her family for their distribution.
