David C. Osmonson

David C. Osmonson, 83, of Morris, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Gardens at Park Pointe in Morris.
Born August 3, 1941, he was the son of Ernest and Florence (Egeland) Osmonson. He attended Morris Community High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was also employed for 35 years with the City of Morris.
He is survived by his sister, Carol (James, deceased) Day of Morris, IL, and half-brother John E. Osmonson of Texas. He is also survived by niece Roberta (Ed) Skelton of Tennessee; nephew Mike (Suzanne) Day of Morris, IL; nephew Brian (Lisa) Day of Morris, IL; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He was a member of the Morris Eagles and the Morris American Legion.
He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoyed his walks and most importantly, spending time with his family.
A private memorial graveside service will be held at a later date.
